Using the innovative Power Supply Kit (PSK), SCHIEDERWERK designs and manufactures power supplies and switch-mode power supplies with custom-made outputs – fast, precise, and reliable. Our platform-based, modular approach accelerates your development, lowers costs, and mitigates project risks, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. It also offers maximum form factor flexibility to seamlessly support your design-in process.

Our platform integrates pre-engineered, EN 60601-certifiable standard modules with tailor-made circuit designs. This enables an efficient configuration of both AC/DC and complex switch-mode power supplies – delivering maximum design freedom and full regulatory compliance, perfectly suited for advanced medical equipment and power management systems in regulated industries.

  • Multiple Outputs

    If several different or separate output voltages are required in an application, integrating all voltage transformers in a single device is the more cost-effective alternative.

  • Reinforced insulation

    To isolate the outputs from the mains and earth potential, we offer insulation systems with UL and IEC approval that meet the safety requirements for medical technology.

  • Medical approval

    The requirements regarding EMC, mains behavior (hold time), leakage currents and insulation for certification to IEC/UL 60601 are met.

  • For global use

    The particularly high efficiency of the front end (PFC) enables the power supply units to be used worldwide without any power restrictions (derating) and fulfills all country-specific requirements with regard to THD and EMC.

  • Cost-effective Solution

    We achieve your cost targets by implementing only the circuit functions that you really need, by integrating all functions (multiple outputs, power management) without overhead and by consistently optimizing the components. For corresponding quantities, we offer solutions that cost less than standard.

  • Many communication interfaces

    On request, we can integrate an interface for communication so that integration into the application’s power management system is possible (examples: CAN, PMBus, SMBus, RS485).

The medical power supply and distribution system MPSD 60-40 DC has been specifically developed for demanding applications in medical environments. It ensures a safe, flexible, efficient, and uninterrupted power supply – precisely where it is needed most. Whether in ambulances, mobile intensive care units, or field hospitals, the system reliably powers ventilators, monitoring systems, infusion pumps, and other critical medical devices at various supply voltages – simultaneously and without interruption.
