Precision that connects – automated assembly at the highest level

Automated assembly processes are key when it comes to joining the smallest and most highly sensitive components safely, reproducibly, and under controlled conditions. IMSTec focuses on maximum precision—from precise positioning to the final connection.

A central element is Active Alignment: components are aligned using sensors and cameras before they are joined. This ensures that components are positioned precisely relative to one another—in the micrometer range and in real time. This reduces tolerance chains, increases process stability, and creates the conditions for reliable, automated joining processes.

Based on precise Active Alignment, IMSTec implements a wide range of joining techniques proven in medical technology, tailored to the material, function, and regulatory requirements:
