Baumann ro|box medtech - Modular Automation for Demanding Medical Technology Applications
With the robox MedTech, Baumann Automation presents a scalable, GMP-compliant automation platform for demanding medical technology applications. It is aimed at manufacturers with the highest requirements for process reliability, cleanroom suitability, and traceability.
The modular platform enables flexible automation concepts – from small series to large-scale production – and can be integrated quickly and efficiently into existing production environments. Thanks to its modular principle, the robox MedTech offers high adaptability to different products and processes.
A special focus is placed on compliance with regulatory requirements: the system is designed for GMP-compliant processes and supports electronic records and signatures in accordance with EU-GMP Annex 11 and 21 CFR Part 11. Integrated testing and monitoring systems ensure maximum process reliability and seamless quality assurance.
Thanks to laminar flow technology, the robox MedTech is designed for cleanroom applications up to ISO 5 and GMP Class A. This is complemented by a hygienic design with high-quality stainless steel surfaces, which guarantee easy cleaning and safe production conditions.
The platform covers a wide range of applications, including the manufacture of pacemakers and neurostimulators, injection systems and insulin pens, as well as sensors, wearables, and cleanroom-compatible disposable products.
In addition to high flexibility, the solution offers numerous integrated technologies for assembly and testing – from welding and joining processes to optical inspection and leak testing, right through to packaging and palletizing. Topics such as ESD protection, automated guided vehicle systems, and audit trail functionalities can also be integrated as options.
